It’s more important than ever to get the free flu vaccine, that’s why the flu vaccine is being offered to more people than ever before, to protect as many lives as possible this winter. Appointment information will be issued shortly – you don’t have to call your GP. To find out if you’re eligible visit

Who will do my vaccinations from now? 
The Edinburgh Health & Social Care Partnership.

Where will my vaccinations be? These will be done at site designed to vaccinate large numbers of people. You will NOT get your flu or COVID vaccine at the GP surgery

When will it be? - The larger sites will be arranging appointments from Early October. Local venues will be made available into October/November.

GP's and their teams cannot issue vaccination exemption certificates.  Further information on vaccination exemption certificates scheme, including information on safe and vaccination and routes to obtain an exemption can be found on the Scottish Government and NHS Inform websites. Alternatively you can phone the free NHS Covid Helpline on 0808 1968565


On the day - (limited number per day) This will be a telephone surgery as we cannot have a large number of people in the waiting room at the same time.  Please call between 8am and 9am Monday to Friday to book into the 'on the day surgery' and the Doctor will call you back that day

Routine Appointments - You can book a routine appointment with the surgery, you have a choice of telephone or face to face consultations (if you need to be examined you will need a face to face booking). You can book an  appointments online or by calling the surgery (if you want it face to face you need to leave a message in the comments box currently.

Contraception Services - IUD/IUS fittings will resume.  Please book a telephone consultation to discuss your requirements before a fitting can be arranged if this is your first fitting

This is important because social distancing 2m is not possible if we have to examine you, take blood or complete a treatment or dressing.
